My Fall/Winter Favourites

So we all know what time it is .. WINTER!! (jumps up and down)
I know what your thinking, "is this girl crazy, who likes winter? It's full of sneezing, horrible weather and hazards just awaiting to happen but au contraire mon frere winter is where you snuggle up with that steaming hot chocolate on the side and... look at winter fashion trends (whoop whoop).

I've always been  a winter-aholic. Okay then, that's not quite true- I'm an 'autumn/winter-aholic'. I'm obsessed with winter fashion, from sleeveless jacket complimented with a knit underneath, for the perfect transitional cover-up, to roll necks pieces paired with leather high-knee boots- great winter warmers.
Two words come to my wind when the cold season starts to kick in - comfy and layers.
It's the season where you don't feel fat when wearing layers or over-sized clothing instead embrace the soft fabrics and look stylish in long coats that applaud your figure.

Chelsea Boots

So I've discovered that my collect of Chelsea boots is increasing as the balance of my bank account is decreasing.
It's strange because I'm not much of a shopaholic, I'm that girl that "buys what she needs" that girl who "can stay stylish on a budget or not over spend" but since I bought my first Grey Chelsea Boots in New Look - which by the way is on sale now! Anytime I  enter a shoe department in a store, I don't notice myself actually search for Chelsea boots whether there mid-hell, flats, ankle boots, buckled, zipped I'll girl subconsciously go on a man-hunt for them. At first I considered being delusional but despite the fact I crave for more pairs of shoes to enter my wardrobe by the week, I actually think I got a problem!.

Sunshine..

Some people fail to acknowledge the time and effort choosing the right clothes that match the weather, my mood and where I'm going - believe me its a challenge. 
The first thing that you notice when you step into my room is colour coordinated clothes neatly piled one on top of the other arranged in tops, jeans, trousers and pajamas.
My cousins 5th birthday party (wow they grow up so fast), the sun is shining which happens at least twice a year in London so I better take advantage and wear my Clemila Sequin Embellished Contrast Dress I bought from Miss-Guided from what seems like years ago awaiting the the sun to bless this city, but then reality kicked me in the back-side and the thought of entering a 5 year old party with a dress that is suited for a night out with the girls is probably not the best choice of outfits.

It is simple to wear each piece of a suit separately when taken out of context, even in summer REISS has saved many formally-dressed-addicted-men with lightweight summer suits that can deny entry of unwanted heat. I strongly believe that a suit can make any guy look good ( if worn correctly of course) . For a female to witness a guy looking into the mirror in his boxers then opening his wardrobe carefully selecting which suit to wear, analysing the fabric, make, cuts, stitching and obviously the colour that goes with the tonights event which in addition, matches his personality and mood is most certainly very intriguing - damn it boy, that's sexy.

Whether his wearing Armani or Ted Baker, with Calvin Klein underwear as soon as that suit jacket is placed delicately on those broad shoulders and the adjustment on the cuffs of the shirt is done accuratly and he stands head held high with his hands in his pockets, nodding his head at his reflections and says "Honey, I'm ready". At that moment, is it just me or do you want him to get dressed all over again.

I look at these beautiful, no magical pair of Giuseppe Zanotti  Booties from Autumn/Winter 2013 collection and wonder who will bless me with such a gift that I cannot bare to look at the price tag of.
We all know that voice in our heads that says "ah buy it your getting paid next week!"  but our conscious morality interferes and kicks us in the back side till your thinking about the pain rather than the booties.
 At this point your sitting on the coach with a spoon full of Ben&Jerrys Half Baked (yummy ummm) in your hand waiting for that phone call - yes, that phone call that says "you've won the lottery!"

Don’t you just love seeing her go pure but enchanting?  She looked stunning in all white at her United Nations World Humanitarian Day “I Was Here” performance in a white sequin long-sleeve dress with cutout detailing and strong shoulders from Marc Bouwer’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection.Just like the model her hair was all back into a sharp clean ponytail.
